Why this exists

I built Frak Cancer because I believe the fight against this disease is as valiant as it is difficult.

This project is dedicated to my mom, Ineke, and to everyone I've witnessed in the trenches of care — the patients and families showing quiet grit, the medical professionals pushing the boundaries of science, and the compassionate volunteers who hold the line in between.

In the hospital, you see that cancer is a bully. But you also see the incredible power of the people who stand up to it: the ones who heal, the ones who search, and the ones who fight. These games are a small piece of that. They're grounded in real science and built on the belief that while the journey is hard, we never face it alone.

NO ONE STANDS ALONE.

What you're playing

Real healing

DNA repair, macrophages clearing debris, stem cells dividing, inflammation resolving. The body's own repair, at the scale it happens.

Real treatments

Chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and surgery — each behaves the way it actually does.

Real science

Every milestone and every research unlock carries a fact you can check. Play long enough and you'll learn something true.

Never punishing

There's no GAME OVER anywhere here. In Mend there's no losing at all. Elsewhere you recharge, and you rally. That word choice was deliberate.

More ways to play

Treatment is exhausting. Some days a fast game is exactly right; other days a single calm minute is all there is. That is why there is more than one door, and why more are coming.

The Research Lab
Plays itself while you rest. Check in, make one decision, leave. For the days when nothing else is possible.
